Brig. Gen.(s) Devin R. Pepper is the Deputy Director of the Strategy, Plans and Policy Directorate (DJ5), United States Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. In this position, he is responsible for developing military strategies, issuing strategic guidance, planning military campaigns and contingency operations, and formulating policy in support of Combatant Commander’s responsibilities outlined in the Unified Command Plan.

Brig. Gen.(s) Devin R. Pepper is the Deputy Director of the Strategy, Plans and Policy Directorate (DJ5), United States Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. In this position, he is responsible for developing military strategies, issuing strategic guidance, planning military campaigns and contingency operations, and formulating policy in support of Combatant Commander’s responsibilities outlined in the Unified Command Plan.

Brig. Gen.(s) Pepper enlisted in the USAF in 1989 and received his commission through the Officer Training School in 1996. He has served in various positions at the Wing, Numbered Air Force, Major Command and Combatant Command levels. H e is a graduate of the United States Air Force Weapons School (Space Superiority Squadron) and has commanded at the squadron, group, Air Force wing and Space Force garrison levels. Prior to his current position, he was Commander of Buckley Garrison, headquartered at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado.

Brig. Gen.(s) Pepper served as a launch officer for the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile and operator of the Upgraded Early Warning Radar weapon system.
