The growing amount of space debris is an important issue that poses direct risks to active spacecraft and create a burden on spacecraft operators. Carolyn Belle of Astroscale U.S. explains what space debris is, the space sustainability trajectory, and different ways to address this challenge.   Space debris was a key topic of discussion at the 20203 Space Symposium in Colorado Springs.
